I’ve worked since my first Saturday job at Samuel Pepys’ cafe baking pre-made croissants and didn’t see why I should stop when at University, or just because I had kids.

After 12 years of juggling work and motherhood, I know that:

  • there are barely any jobs with working hours that suit a working Mum (apart from being a nurse or childminder. I can hardly open a plaster and I would be rubbish looking after kids all day.)
  • when you work and have children you forget a lot of thing and wonder where the children are. You also forget a lot of things.
  • working mums look after the kids and do everything else, too.

I’m interested in the future of working, remote working, time management, team management, job shares, reading, running and coffee.¬†Thanks for visiting and do get in touch.
